Welcome to the Engineering Journal, where I document my journey of innovation and problem-solving, showcasing long-term projects in assistive technology, renewable energy, and material science advancements.

Increasing the Efficiency of Traditional Solar Cells: Quantum Dot Solar Cells

Traditional solar cells suffer from efficiency limitations due to their inability to fully utilize the solar spectrum. In fact, most traditional silicon solar cells have a limited efficiency of only 15–18%, with lower absorption coefficient and untunable band gaps.

However, the application of Cadmium Selenium Quantum Dots may solve this problem!

Investigating Optimal Solar Cell & Panel Architecture

Traditional solar panels often suffer from inefficient energy conversion and heat dissipation, limiting their overall performance. In fact, suboptimal cell arrangement and regular flat shapes in current solar panels lead to comparatively inefficient light absorption rates.

However, analyzing and optimizing solar cell and panel architecture may solve this problem!

Athletica 360 Sports Wearable Development

Imagine if you had a sports wearable that helps track your motions during practice and gives you immediate sensory feedback via bluetooth device. Athletica360 is a sports performance device that uses advanced motion sensors and AI to provide real-time feedback and analytics, helping athletes refine their technique and improve efficiency!

Building MicroClear Salt Purification System

Did you know that people consume around a credit card of microplastics?

Did you know that humans on average consume approximately 4000 microplastic particles annually?

Did you know that even the Himalayan Salt comprises microplastics?

Currently, there are no existing solutions to this issue, and we are relentlessly consuming microplastics on a daily basis.

However, the MicroClear Salt Purification System in development may solve this problem!

VISION: Assistive Wearable Development for the Visually Impaired

The Visually Impaired and Blind individuals in China are suffocating.

Why?

Because of the lack of assistive technologies for them in public facilities (especially outside of major cities like Shanghai)

Because of the high complexity of the Chinese Braille system with a confusion rate of 25%

Because of the complex city layout in major cities like Chongqing

However, the Vision Interface System for Image and Object Navigation (shortly, VISION) wristband revolutionizes the visually impaired individuals'  lives!
